  • I actually remember a day when we had more than just a handful of moderate Republicans in office (mostly pre-Reagan era). There was none of this government is the problem, and we must ALWAYS cut spending and taxes as a solution to every problem.

  • umm...the market is down because the White House tried to quash rumors of a National Bank. Get it right. Private banks have failed and we're being told more of the same is the way to go? That's why the market reacted the way it did. The media is again spinning and misleading.

  • Didn't Bruce win an Oscar for "Streets of Philadelphia"? He's got a pile of awards, I don't think he minds being "snubbed" for this one. Although I think the song is perfect for the movie.

  • Bruce can sing. He was a rock and roll singer at one time anyway, not an American Idol contestant. Check out the Born to Run album as a prime example of his amazing pipes. You may not like his newer stylings of country, folk, etc...but that doesn't mean he can't sing.

  • The U.S has almost always been the largest debtor nation in the world, and we've had a terrific economy for many years been able to do this with great debt because we are a developed country. And we do all this with one of the smallest tax burdens in the world.
